POWER OF MUSIC

Throughout Liat Cohen's internship at Variety magazine, she learned the fundamentals of planning and marketing an event from conception. As an intern project, Cohen developed the concept for a new event: Power of Music. The event was meant to celebrate musical artists and industry members who also contribute to society philanthropically. 

In addition to the concept, Cohen also compiled a potential marketing plan, event production deck, and original signage into a presentation used to pitch the idea to the events and marketing departments. The event signage was designed using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Power of Music presentation was so well-received, Variety decided to hire a new employee specifically to focus on music as it relates to the magazine, entertainment, and events.
